My place in Hoi An, Vietnam was cheaper than my electric bill in Wilmington 😩.⁣

I always tell you to master the tripod selfie so you don’t have to rely on strangers to take pics of you when you travel. But I never say how many tries it takes to get the tripod selfie right. 😆😆 I cut the top of my own head off, but let’s be honest...the necklace is really the star of this show. 🤩

It’s one of the pieces I brought back from South Africa in 2017, but I couldn’t sell this one. I think it’s my very favorite thing. 💞

I quit my job to travel for a year to places where I didn’t know anybody and couldn’t speak the language. I just really wanted to see the world before I’m too old to enjoy it. I was 41 with good health. The perfect time.⁣
